voiceprint
An instrument known as a spectrograph produces "prints" of one's voice for use in comparing such readings with the actual voice of the person involved to determine whether such person uttered the material words. Used in trial of cases which require identification of voices. Com. v. Lykus, 367 Mass. 191, 327 N.E.2d 671.
